Ishfaq Ahmed (Kashmiri: इश्फ़ाक़ अहमद (Devanagari), اشفاق احمد (Nastaleeq)) (b. 1983 March 17, Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India) is an Indian football player currently playing for Salgaocar S.C. in the I-League.
Ishfaq Ahmed joined Mohun Bagan AC on June 2, 2007. During his first season with the Indian giant, the former Dempo SC player was arguably the most consistent left-sided midfielder in the I-League.[1] During the 2007/08 season, Ishfaq Ahmed appeared in 37 matches during which he scored two goals.[2] Despite the excellent season, Ishfaq has yet to be called by Houghten for the Indian national squad.He signed with I-League champions Salgaocar SC in June 2011.
